Human Behavior in an Abusive Relationship
All literature about abusive relationship such as domestic violence in a home, bullying in a school or different forms of harassment in a workplace shows that the situation will only improve once the victims learn how to say no to the abusers and tell themselves that they will not take any more abuse or violence ever again. Only then will the process of healing and liberation begin for the abused. Because over and over again the abuser will only show a pattern of abusive behavior and apology, yet will continue with the harmful acts to the abused.
The Power to ASK – The Untapped Power of Each Filipino to say NO!
In many forums that I have participated in as a resource speaker, the most common question asked of me is, “What can an ordinary Filipino do to fight the abuses of GMA?” My answer to this question is simple: each Filipino has the right and the ability to ask questions, and each one can use this right to force an answer from their leaders, until many of these leaders are disturbed enough to take action against the abuser.
Kung ikaw ay isang bata, tanungin mo ang iyong mga magulang, bakit nila hinahayaan ang gobyerno ni GMA na sirain ang inyong kinabukasan? Bakit nila pinababayaan ang walang humpay na pag-sisinungaling, at kapag nabubuking katulad ng NBN-ZTE at MOA sa MILF ay sasabihin lamang na binawi na, kaya ok lang? (Bilin ko sa mga bata ay kanilang bantayan ang reaksyon ng mukha ng kanilang magulang kapag ito ay kanilang tinatanong)
Kung ikaw ay isang estudyante, tanungin mo ang iyong kaklase, propesor o ang inyong principal o dean sa kolehiyo bakit hindi sila kumikibo sa harapan ng harap-harapang pang-iinsulto sa kanilang mataas na kaisipan na pinag-gagawa ng mga nasa gobyerno?
Kung ikaw ay isang empleyado, tanungin mo ang may-ari ng iyong pinapasukan bakit sila pumapayag sa pang-gigipit sa kanila ng mga tiwaling kawani ng gobyerno na dapat nga ay nagsisilbi sa kanila? Bakit sila pumapayag na makipag-ayos sa maling gawain ng mga abusadong otoridad?
Kung ikaw ay taga gobyerno, tanungin mo ang iyong amo o mga kasamahan, bakit sila nanahimik sa gitna nang laganap na korupsyon sa kanilang mga opisina? Bakit sila nanahimik sa gitna nang labis na dusa ng taong bayan na dapat ay kanilang pinagsisilbihan?
Kung ikaw ay sundalo, tanungin mo ang iyong opisyal at mga kasamahan, kung bakit patuloy pa rin ang inyong pagsisilbi sa isang gobyerno na wala nang tiwala ang taong bayan? Bakit patuloy pa rin ang inyong pagsisilbi sa isang gobyernong nagnanakaw sa bayan? Bakit patuloy ang inyong pagsisilbi sa isang organisasyong hindi na taga bantay-laya kundi isa nang taga bantay-nakaw?
Kung ikaw ay isang guro, tanungin mo ang kasamahan at mga opisyal ninyo, bakit marami sa kanila ang hindi sinusunod ang kanilang mga tinuturo? Bakit hindi nila maisabuhay ang maging isang ulirang modelo ng mga batang kanilang tinuturuan? Bakit isa sa pinaka-talamak na ahensya ng gobyerno ang DepEd? Bakit uso na sa parochial o private schools ang rebate sa book purchase?
Kung ikaw ay isang relihoyoso, tanungin mo ang iyong mga kasamahan at mga superyora, obispo, o cardinal, bakit meron sa kanila ang siya mismong taga suway ng kanilang sermon sa pulpito ng simbahan? Bakit tayo na nataguriang most Christian nation ay siya ring most corrupt sa Asya at isa sa pinaka-corrupt sa mundo? Bakit marami sa kanila ang nag-bubulag-bulagan at nagbibingi-bingihan sa napakaraming katiwalian ng gobyerno ni GMA na nagtutulak sa napakaraming Pilipino lugmok sa kahirapan na gumawa ng kasalanan sa kapwa niya at sa Diyos?
Kung ikaw ay isang OFW, tanungin mo ang iyong sarili sampu ng mga kasamahan mo, kung ano ang serbisyo na naibibigay sa inyo ng gobyerno sa panganib na sinusuong ninyo bilang tagataguyod ng ekonomiya ng Pilipinas? Tanungin mo ang inyong pamilya kung ano ang kanilang natatanggap na tulong sa gobyerno kung kayo ay minamaltrato o ina-agrabyado sa ibang bansa?
Higit sa lahat, kung ikaw ay isang Pilipino, tanungin mo ang iyong sarili, bakit mo hinayaang gawin sa iyo ang pang-aabuso sa iyong dangal at pagkatao? Bakit mo hinahayaan na ang pinagpaguran mong pera ay bawasan ng buwis, na ang binibili mong pagkain, kuryente at gasolina ay patawan ng mas mataas na buwis, para lamang sa pakinabang ng mga nakaupo sa gobyernong ito ni GMA?
Matuto tayong magtanong hanggang tayo ay magising, dahil ang isang gising na bayan lamang ang magpapalaya sa atin laban sa mga mapang-abuso.

If you look at society nowadays, you will see the destruction brought about by man’s refusal to follow God’s commandments. You see man’s preference in doing evil, rather than doing good. We see moral degradation everywhere: pornography of all kinds is already accepted in our society. We can say the same for drugs. In fact, with most people these days, if you’re in the “drug scene”, you’re even thought of as “cool”. That’s how misguided most people are these days! Every level of society seems to be on the verge of self-destruction!
What’s worse, most people either don’t know that THERE IS A GOD THAT WILL SOLVE OUR PROBLEMS, IF ONLY WE’D GET TO KNOW HIM AND SERVE HIM or they’re just too addicted to the “SINFUL LIFE”. Some follow religious doctrines and say they know God, but you see them still drinking beer, smoking, doing drugs, commiting adultery, using foul language, worshipping statues, lying, wearing inappropriate clothing, commiting fornication, reading lewd magazines, refusing to acknowledge that homosexuality is a sin, stealing, worshipping other “gods”, teaching and believing blasphemous doctrines, rebelling against the government, and etc. A question for everyone: If you say you know God and you are in the TRUTH, how come there’s no GENUINE CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE? WHY DO YOU REMAIN SINFUL? WHY HAVE YOUR SICKNESSES AND DISEASES REMAINED, OR EVEN WORSENED? WHY DO YOU GO AGAINST GOD’S COMMANDMENTS?

Then, you have people who start out with good intentions, but because they LACK KNOWLEDGE ABOUT GOD, they end up just following what seems to be POPULAR. WHAT SEEMS TO BE EASY AND WITHOUT PAIN. Whoever is the majority, they’ll just follow- EVEN IF IT’S AGAINST GOD’s LAW. They just want to be “FRIENDS WITH THE WORLD”, because if you try to be a hero and let people know that they’re sinning against God, you just end up getting mocked, hurt or dead. Heard of the saying, “If you can’t beat them, join them”? This is the situation of a lot of people nowadays.

For a very long time we have been trying to tell everybody that Jun lied. Jun was never for the real truth; he was caught in the act of stealing and then resorted to lying and misleading the public. Now, at the end, he is living in own world of lies and deceit.

It is about time for Jun to go into oblivious silence and reassess himself. The people have forgot and forgave him for his antics and it will be more sensible if he quietly move on with his life without causing any furors or controversies.
It is also time for those crazy senators to come to their senses, if they have any.

Let us not be too hard on ourselves. The lesson of EDSA 1 is too deeply embedded in our psyche. It brought us nothing but Cory, FVR, ERAP. EDSA 2 and Gloria. None of these changes brought us any relief. Nor will any change in leadership, no matter the mode! The is why we remain glued to our seats. For whom shall we fill the streets this time? The country needs a better government: one that will minimize presidential abuse, and bring out the best in our citizenry and local leadership. It is called local autonomy.

Professor Emeritus of Political Science: “… we have to accelerate the process of government decentralization under the 1987 Constitution both ways: by de-concentrating national government administration to the regional centers and by devolving more national government functions to the local government units through continuing amendments to the Local Government Code of 1991. At the same time, we have to reorient our people… towards greater self-reliance and responsibility through local governance and development, including developing their capacity to raise more local revenues and generate funding for local development, and to attract investments.”12
In the letter of complaint filed, lawyer Allan Contado of the NBI’s Anti-Graft Division accused Lozada and Cariño, PFC vice president then, allegedly violated Article 217 of the Revised Penal Code for Malversation of Public Funds.
The case has to do with a memorandum of agreement (MoA) between the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) and the PFC dated November 28, 2006 for the implementation of the Economic Productivity Act of Idle Public Lands through the establishment of Fibercrops and Jathropa Curcas I Plantations Project.
NEDA provided P19.6-million fund and was called “KR2 Grant” pursuant to the RP-Japan Increased Food Production Program. The amount was deposited in the PFC’s savings account with the Philippine National Bank West Avenue branch, which was intended for the operating cost and working fund of the corporation.
Because of this, the NBI said, the fund got mixed with those used for the basic operations of the PFC.
A month later, the PFC released P14.487-million to the Army for the first and second phases of the jatropha project.
But the amount was returned to PFC after the secretary of national defense disapproved of the agreement.
The balance of the KR2 fund was invested in Insular Life Assurance Company as a Wealth Builder Single Premium Variable Plan instead of being used in a PFC related public project.

From this bible verses, we now see that making statues to worship, goes against God’s commandment and only shows that religions who practice this teaching do not know much about God. We can only feel God’s presence in our lives here on Earth. We will only see Him when we get to heaven. So if you want to see God, none other than Our Dearest Jesus, you will have to follow ALL His commandments in order to get to heaven. Yes, the Lord Jesus Christ is God!

Truth is we have had 3 Prime Ministers since Gloria Makapal-gal declared herself president of the Philippines even when the only thing she seems best capable of is to lie and cheat!
Over here, when officials of our government cannot do a good job, they have the good sense to resign rather than take all the blame for even the mistakes of people under them, for taking blame here can be severe and tragic especially when the officials get involved in even just one scandal that is not even as grave and serious as the scandals involving the Arroyo couple.
